Mission Statement

Here in the Chemistry department it is our aim to deliver an interesting and enjoyable course to all pupils irrespective of age and ability. In Standard Grade Chemistry we employ a range of teaching strategies based around the Choice Chemistry Course.

Chemistry is not only about books and revision, real chemists develop medicines, petrol for cars, confectionery, and drugs for medical and scientific uses.
